Giving a talk this afternoon on what advances in AI mean for healthcare, for the Annual Scientific Meeting of @AOA_ortho. The theme for the plenary session is “making data the solution”. My take is “don’t make it the problem”; start from clinical needs rather than the technology.
Interesting quantitative data on the use of LLMs in publishing being presented by @james_y_zou at #ISMB2024. It looks like 16–17% of text in both the manuscripts AND the peer reviews are written by LLMs!
