Last night, marking a brilliant five-year partnership, @networkrail and The Tree Council, beat off hot competition to win the prestigious Rail Business Award for Sustainability and Environmental Excellence. With 20,000 miles of track, the railway is Britain’s longest wildlife corridor and we’re delighted that this partnership, which has already planted nearly 300,000 community trees, has been recognised in this way. And watch this space - there’s so much more to come! 🌳🥳

Really good to be out with @NetworkRailSE today planting trees. The security and sustainability teams have worked together with @KeltbrayRail to deliver a tree screening solution to deter future graffiti on our infrastructure. Great to see, thanks all!
