Spectacular self-own. SCOTUS decisions can be and have been overturned.
Protestants have a Constitution with no Supreme Court, only local courts issuing conflicting rulings. Catholics have a Supreme Court, a final ruling.

Also, if anything this would be an argument for conciliarism, not papal monarchy.

If I were emperor, eggs on ketchup would get you exiled from the country, and this would be a fitting punishment since ketchup itself would also be banned (i.e. not legally available here).
Ketchup isn’t an option, what are you putting on these eggs?

"And he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.” But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” (Luke 8:21) Why did Jesus relativize Mary in this way?

Christian scholars using “BCE” and “CE” in their published work is embarrassing.

Alternative response: Congratulations.
Elon Musk just became the world's first trillionaire. The typical American household would have to work more than 11 MILLION years to make Elon Musk's level of wealth. We need a wealth tax.

There is no universal definition of 'Christian nationalism' among both its adherents and its detractors, which is why it is nearly impossible to have a productive conversation about it. It lacks categorical precision.

Reading through the Synoptics with the question in mind: How might Jesus' personality be described in modern biographical terms? Seems clear: 1) Commanding/charismatic/authoritative 2) Disagreeable/direct/blunt 3) Compassionate/humble #3 makes #1-2 the best version of those.

Does not “require”, sure; but in many cases (that we celebrate!), the magistrate *has* assisted. Was that not right and desirable? E.g. 1 Kings 5:7ff, Isaiah 44:28, Daniel 6:26ff, Constantine, Theodosius, Frederick the Wise, Edward VI, etc.

Not to mention the production of the WCF itself.

Not far into it but the Affirmations and Denials have a lot of ambiguities. And what is this? Christian political engagement can never permit "harsh words"? Like calling Herod a vixen (Luke 13:32)?

Never cared about the NFL and I don't watch it, but my family is from Chicago, and this is just lame and sad.
