It feels like we got a potential logjam of players. Mendez,Jenkins,Culpepper, Erod,Wallner,Fedko,etc. Why aren't we making a deal for bullpen arms with meat on the bone, or a SP with ERA under 4? Seattle needs to make room for Kade Anderson.

When you trade away almost your entire pen at the deadline, you don't have much of a choice. You're forced to buy one. If you don't you keep cycling through waiver wire bums and you see the results. They made their bed, now they must lie in it. They're getting what they deserve.

The cheap part is not investing some money into the bullpen during the offseason. We care a lot less about last years deadline(since most trades were pretty good), if they brought in a good/decent relievers.
