Today marks an exciting milestone for WasabiCard!
We’re excited to announce that WasabiCard has raised nearly US$10 million in Series Pre-A round with participation from Avenir Group, Vernal Capital, Vision Plus Capital, and 01VC.
The funding will accelerate the company’s global expansion across card issuance, stablecoin-based cross-border payments, acquiring, and remittance services, as it continues to build a compliant, efficient, and user-friendly next-generation financial infrastructure.
We believe the future of payments will be faster, more programmable, increasingly borderless and we’re building the infrastructure to support that future.

作为投资人最自豪的是自己的 deal 投的不错，尤其是最早的投到了别人当时都不认可的 deal。证明自己是对的是很强的正反馈。
2023 年2月，Yilong 在 LinkedIn 上问我要不要加入他做一个超快的 EVM 系统，当时他只有一个人。作为搞 DB 出身的研究员，我对这种极高性能，低延迟的系统的设计一直都充满兴趣。
当时刚刚转成 Part-time PhD，我觉得没办法全职做事会影响项目的进度，于是我没有选择加入，顺手介绍给了当时正在兼职看项目的基金：ABCDE。于是，最近几年有些曲线的职业路径，就从投资 MegaETH 开始了。从失败PhD到 abcde part-time intern，到合伙人，到现在来了 labs。
MegaETH 是我从早期发现，投资，到投后，到退出完整的经历全流程的 Deal，做了一些微小的工作，招聘了一些不错的工程师（最自豪的是变相的给mega送了一个世界级的设计师 ），介绍了一些投资人。
整个过程的能学到的启发就是：一级投资的成功，全靠 Founder 跟投资人关系不大，投资人不要太自我感动，能做好副驾驶不添乱就不错了。Founder 是比投资人强的，做投资是个偷学 Founder 技术的好机会。
现在一二级市场正在动态平衡，作为没有 Conflict of Interest 的老朋友，希望 Mega 一切顺利。

对于以太坊是超级利好！
供给减少 需求增加，ETH staking 增加了 ETF 的“收益属性”，类似于股票分红，能吸引更多机构和散户资金。BlackRock等竞争对手也会陆续跟上，预计未来一年内各个以太坊ETF 新增流入资金规模应该超过100亿美元。

Today, Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (Ticker: $ETH) and Grayscale Ethereum Trust ETF (Ticker: $ETHE) have become the first U.S.-listed spot crypto exchange-traded products (ETP) to enable staking, another first-mover milestone for the firm.
Grayscale Solana Trust (OTCQX: $GSOL)* has also enabled staking. Pending regulatory approval of GSOL’s uplisting to an ETP, it would become one of the first spot Solana ETPs to enable staking.
