With expertise from @dulearning , Year 2 spent the afternoon learning all about the Great Fire of London. We learned about how historians at @durham_uni answer questions about the past using different sources like maps, Samuel Pepys’ diary and experimental archaeology. 🔥🪶

Today Year 2 had a visitor from @dulearning , who gave a workshop on The Great Fire Of London. The pupils read maps, used quills to write down which five items they would save in a fire, put out imaginary fire with an old leather bucket and found out even more about the topic!
