Incredible cultural exchange experience in Mr. Aguilar’s Spanish class today. LMS students conversed with students in Argentina in the languages they are learning. Very special. #OurLMS
One of many thinking tasks from this week. This one was our 2nd curricular task for the year. For each curricular task there was a non-curricular one. The Tax Collector problem was most students’ favorite this week.

I’m committing to visibly random groups and vertical non-permanent work spaces this year.
Here are my students completing their 4th non-curricular thinking task with their 3rd set of visibly randomized groups on the 2nd day of school.

Thank you for the most energizing PD to start the year! I felt empowered and equipped with systems I could implement DAY ONE to work towards the @LeanderISD graduate profile
“I wasn’t only concerned with where they were in math but also how they felt in my classroom” -@eayers314 1000x YES!! This is why we do what we do! #1LISD
Students in @eayers314 Algebra class start the day by posing their own questions. There are no limits on learning when the students are driving. Facilitating learning as opposed to dispensing knowledge.
I’ve learned so much from @Mrs_VRod over the last 2 years, but this strategy for engaging virtual and in person students simultaneously has completely changed my class’s attitude towards learning in the hybrid model. #OurLMS
