Reckless Ben is currently representing himself in the court case where Bricks and Minifigs is suing him for over $1 Million in damages. I get he wants to show that a "little guy" can stand up to a massive corporation, but this really is a reckless decision. Source: BAM Sucks on Youtube

Lawyer @emilydbaker thinks that FRANCHISEE owners will eventually BRING LAWSUITS against BAM CORPORATE for DESTROYING the BRAND with the way they’ve mishandled this!! What would you do as a franchise owner? Quote below: “I’m waiting for the lawsuit from the franchisees of other bricks and Minifigs locations to sue corporate for the way they handled this. From the way corporate has handled this I think it has done a substantial amount of harm to the brand and these franchise owners bought into the brand and are licensees of the brand and have to pay a portion of their proceeds to the brand and the brand just keeps hitting themselves in the face and destroying their brand” I’m not a lawyer and everything I say is alleged and in my opinion. I will also personally never spend money at a bricks and minifigs store ever again BECAUSE OF CORPORATE. If I were a franchisee I’d be calling a lawyer and teaming up with other owners to combine legal forces to sue corporate for damages. But that’s just me. Not giving advice just giving my hypothetical opinion.

GoFundMe Steals From Old People? I just found out that Bricks and Minifigs took down Reckless Ben's GoFundMe and I don't think I have ever been more angry about anything in my life. Especially seeing that Patreon rejected the court order and was praised as a hero. For GoFundMe to cave to pressure is disgusting and insanely cowardly. Tim Cadogan is their CEO, and he should be made to answer for this. It's reprehensible. Why did this happen? Doesn't this mean that GoFundMe is essentially stealing from old people as well? I would not use GoFundMe for your crowdfunding campaigns. They shut down people's successful campaigns all the time. Might I suggest that Ben use GiveSendGo in the future, as they are way more free speech focused and have routinely rejected government demands to shut down many crowdfunded campaigns.
