Recently, the ECDC, with support from the dtic through the SSAS Incentive Scheme, led a trade mission of 10 Eastern Cape agri-processing, agriculture, and agri-tech companies to the International Food Show Africa in Tunis, Tunisia.

The mission included a market intelligence session hosted with the South African Embassy in Tunisia, a three-day exhibition, business to business engagements, and strategic networking aimed at unlocking export opportunities and strengthening trade ties.

The ECDC manages the Jobs Protection and Stimulation Fund on behalf of the Eastern Cape Provincial Government. The Fund helps businesses keep employees at work and create new jobs.
