The commentary around these cases has drawn out an interesting strand of English psychology.
Middle class people know that they are not violent and do not commit serious crime: this leads to a belief that if a Middle Class person does something, it cannot be a crime.

A children's home, for ONE child was BLOCKED after 21 objections were sent.
The complainants said that the children's home would
"not be aligned with the elderly demographic of the area"
It was one child. ONE child.
Why are we so hostile to children?

In 2003, Khalid El-Masri was living in Ulm with his wife and four children. El-Masri was having a bad time - he had lost his job and argued with his wife. So on New Years Eve, he took a coach to Skopje for a week holiday.
