Jurors have a right to acquit a defendant according to their conscience, irrespective of a Judge’s directions. Every defendant deserves access to fair justice.

Tom Wainwright, one of the defence barristers, said of the destruction of drones: “They may have been involved in taking the lives of men, women and children in Gaza. That is why they acted. That’s something that – in a sane world – would be commended.” theguardian.com/uk-news/2026…

Watching Zionist shills freak out that a juror can talk honestly about a trial after it is complete is the only real silver lining to an otherwise very dark cloud. Jurors absolutely should complain about having crucial facts/context hidden from them. The WHOLE truth?
A juror — a JUROR — in the Palestine Action case is now speaking at a rally in their support. 😵‍💫 This is the collapse of the apparatus of our freedoms. What is Britain becoming?

Full fascism by the British state. Destroying weaponry being used to commit genocide is an act of humanity not terrorism. All solitary with the Filton 4 and their families 🇵🇸

This peaceful action took place outside Woolwich Crown Court during the sentencing of four young people who had taken direct action to dismantle weapons of genocide in an Israeli factory on UK soil. The four were sentenced to more than 26 years in prison between them.

Sir Jonathon Porritt MBE risked arrest under the Terrorism Act yesterday outside Woolwich Crown Court as the sentencing of four direct actionists was being determined. Met Police managed to arrest less than half of those holding the “offending” due to the sheer level of support.

No, they didn’t. One of them, Sam Corner, was found to have injured Sgt Evans without intent. There was no such accusation against any of the others. Kemi Badenoch committed contempt of court on live television during their trial.
These thugs fractured the spine of Sgt Kate Evans, who spoke in court of the medical and emotional trauma she still lives with. Prison is where they belong. Unlike Zack Polanski, I want serious consequences for anyone who attacks police officers risking their lives to protect us.

Nothing to see here, just the leader of the opposition committing contempt of court live on national television. This accusation lead to no conviction after a jury were given the full context. Nobody was “attacked viciously” or has “[gotten] away with it”. The case is ongoing.

That being said, what does it mean to “disagree with Palestine Action activists goals”? Their only goal was to dismantle weapons that are being used to murder civilians in a genocide. Like disarming a mass-murderer on a spree, it’s the right thing to do. Direct action works.
You can vehemently disagree with Palestine Action activists goals, whilst simultaneously be horrified a judge can decide AFTER a conviction if it was terrorism related amd double a sentence. Being able to class an offense as terrorism AFTER conviction without charging them with terrorism should bother everyone. Any protest action that is now determined as trying to "change government policy" can have this applied. So today it's Palestine Action, but next it'll be immigration protests, farmers protests, NHS, tax etc etc.

As expected, the professional standards at @TheSun have remained in the gutter… In this piece they use a photo of Jordan Devlin, cleared of all charges, in a hit-piece against Sam Corner who was found in two jury trials not to have intended to cause injury. Apology? Unlikely.

VIOLENT ARRESTS After making over 100 arrests in Woolwich for holding paper signs, the Met appeared flummoxed at the volume of activists and disappeared for a couple of hours. Scores of sign-holders simply went home. When police returned, they violently arrested a few more.

Part of tonight’s Channel 4 News report on the utterly disgusting stitch-up of the Palestine Action trial. I notice the far-right are happy about it, which I suspect was part of the government’s motivation for interfering in the trial. Everything they do is to please them.

Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel. Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it. A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.

LIVE: After draconian decision to apply a terrorist connection to Filton 4 protests continue outside court as Met Police arrest of a hundred sign holders shows proscription of Palestine Action is an untenable use of terrorism legislation to silence dissent and peaceful protest.
