Playing the piano using my beautiful mum’s Schubert book from before she was married - so 1940 something. Feels like a lovely way to connect with her. ❤️
Poverty robbed her of the chance to enter the Scottish Academy of Music but she played (mainly accordion) all her life and passed on to us the privilege of a musical education, and a lifelong love of music. I’ll always be so grateful for that.
