I don’t question that Alison Rose did something wrong.
I question why the PM got involved.
Because we own 39% of NatWest?
We own 100% of the Post Office.
Has the PM told the CEO to pay back bonuses based on false accounts?
Or asked him to resign?
No.

The Post Office said it didn't know that there was false information in its accounts.
False information that led to a bonus payment of £170k (on top of a £400k salary) for the CEO alone.
Money needed, we were told, to motivate staff engagement with the Horizon scandal inquiry.

UK banks deliberately, systemically, missold, by script, over £40bn of PPI, ripping money out of the hands of the public including many vulnerable people - no bank CEO resigned.

Put ULEZ aside. The big news is that tactical voting is here to stay. The British now get in a first past the post voting system best to exercise your second preference and win to get the Tory out than vote a purposeless first preference. The Tories have lost the next election.

Sunak on the Uxbridge by-election hold:

So ULEZ is a “matter of substance”
