When people vote for candidates I don't support, I can almost always understand the disagreement and often picture myself voting differently. But with CA Gov. @GavinNewsom, I am at a loss to understand how anyone can support him. 1. He closed schools harming all kids, but especially poor kids, while sending his kids to school. 2. He signed AB2098 to censor what California doctors told their patients 3. French Laundry and now, Panera-gate 4. The mismanagement of the California state budget 5. He is feckless in his approach to the California crime & homelessness problems. He is seriously lacking feck, my friends. 6. He declared religious worship inessential. 7. He is seemingly entirely unable to take responsibility for any of the problems he's caused. Of all these, point 1 is most important to me because it's personal. He closed the doors of my kids' public schools, despite strong scientific evidence at the time that it was useless for covid and harmful to children.
