This is remains the massive hole in the Workforce Plan that needs urgent clarity. With over 3000 applicants wanting to join anaesthetic training, and an urgent need within the NHS for anaesthetic doctors, where is the plan for expansion of training posts? I will keep searching..

Under 1-year-olds had a serious complication rate of 10% and neonates had a rate of 17%.
10-fold higher rate of complications in neonates than in adults.

117 children were killed in Gaza yesterday; at least 1750 have been killed since this started. 29 UN workers, 27 journalists & dozens of health workers. As this continues news organisations need to ensure these figures are not buried beyond the headlines, which they currently are
