Encouraged that both parties are talking about reauthorizing Prop. 123. Let's work together to send a plan to the ballot that strengthens our schools by prioritizing our teachers. We love the idea of valuing all our employees and dedicating dollars to protecting our students.

We couldn’t agree more. In order to spend the money that was appropriated to public education students we need to address the AEL cap; otherwise nearly a million students will lose funding. The legislature who appropriated the dollars should fix the issue.

As part of the budget deal negotiated in June, @PaulDBoyer and I received a commitment from the governor's office for a special session this year dedicated to lifting the AEL cap for 2023-24. We're calling on the governor to honor that commitment. (1/3) azmirror.com/2022/09/08/az-t…

The state budget vote tonight made historic investments in K-12 education. A win for students. Thank you to the Senators & Reps that made it happen.

Az State proposed budget takes care of our lowest funded and highest need special education students by allocating $55 million ongoing. A great first step in addressing the underfunding of special education. 👏Thanks @dougducey, House & Senate. Now let's pass this budget!

The Kyrene community is strong, even when we are apart. This week, we are sharing a video series documenting our transition to online operations. It would not have been possible without the commitment & heart of our entire KSD family. #WeAreKyreneALWAYS youtube.com/watch?v=jgEh8tNS…

We must address issues of poverty. Project Rocket begins to do that by providing resources to low income schools to help close the achievement gap. We appreciate @dougducey for making this a priority 🚀. azcentral.com/story/opinion/…

As one of the founding members of our group, 14 years ago, he held our rudder also. His legacy will always be entwined in Arizona education for decades to come. google.com/amp/s/tucson.com/…

We’ve continued to drive up education funding – K-12 & higher ed. $700 million PLUS in new education dollars above last year. This includes teacher raises, new school construction, school counselors, cops on campus, & a renewed investment in community colleges and the trades. 5/

Bright mind & compassionate heart are the words that describe Dawn Wallace. Her presence in @AZGOV will be missed, but I hope she doesn’t think her phone won’t still be ringing to seek her advice! Congrats on your service & good luck in your next adventure! #DawnAwesome

A honor to testify to the AZ Leg Health and Human Services Comm speaking against allowing adults to smoke/vape at schools. Didn't we fight this battle 20 years ago:/
