What an incredible year of celebration as @HeritageFundUK marked 30 years of the #NationalLottery.
Since 1994, we have invested £1bn into places of worship. I am delighted to end 2024 with an announcement of £1.25m for these historic buildings and communities that care for them.

Amazing display of #StormDarragh aftermath, discovered up on #Exmoor #Somerset... where the wild conditions blasted this fence with hay, leaving nature's own woven version of 'rattan furniture'.

December 7th is the feast day of St. Ambrose, patron saint of Beekeeping an candle makers. The Latin phrase for “honey” is “Ambrosia” or the food of the gods, thus the origin of St. Ambrose’s name.
