Every new iPhone brings back this stupid keyboard shortcut that I need to delete. No, Apple, I never want "omw" to turn into "On my way!".

So.. @OpenAI "has issues" generating a 🏳️‍🌈 pride flag with a star of david on top of it, but no issues with other religious symbols. WTF?

Finicky is one of my favorite tools recently. I use work/personal profiles on Chrome and I hate when work links from Slack/email open in the personal profile and vice versa. Finicky allows me to choose which browser/profile to use based on matching rules. github.com/johnste/finicky

ChatGPT is so chatty. I always add "just give me the code, don't explain anything" otherwise it'll write so much text before I get to copy-paste anything.

The fact that so many "links" on Google and Google Maps are not real <a href>s that I can open in a new tab drives me insane.

Are there any good email clients that allow grouping messages by *sender* and not by threads? Seems like a better way to inbox zero if I could switch how emails are grouped.

I'm in love with @onbeeper - an app that combines **ALL** chat services into one native, consistent app (including iMessage and WhatsApp). I've been using it for a few weeks and it's great. A modern Trillian/Adium.

Ugh. #TypeScript class "parameter properties" acts differently in runtime in different transpilers and targets when combined with other fields `class X { constructor(public foo: string) {}; bar = create(this.foo) }; }` Gonna ban usage with github.com/typescript-eslint…

Ha. No. DBAs said the same thing about ActiveRecord and ORMs years ago. And ORMs are still superior to most manual SQL writing. TS is the best thing that could have happened to JS. It saves so much time off debugging, refactoring, reviewing and understanding code. Never go back.

TypeScript sucked out much of the joy I had writing JavaScript. I’m forever grateful that @yukihiro_matz didn’t succumb to the pressure of adding similar type hints to Ruby. May we forever enjoy this beloved language without 🙏 zverok.space/blog/2023-05-05…

Sure, @github, let's hide the most important file in a PR in a way that's easily missed by reviewers. (Proposed solution: show first N lines with a clear indicator that there are more lines in the file...)

Big Announcement: I will be releasing all my Module Federation Work for Next.js as open-source projects. This includes nextjs-mf and nextjs-ssr, which will now fold into one single plugin to offer the community both SSR and CSR support. This is being done for the greater good 😍

Great improvements in @googledocs recently. But when are we getting proper code snippet support? ` and ``` with syntax support would be amazing.
