I'm still confused.
So @AnglianWater's new sewage plant in @camcitco is being built using taxpayers' money, £227m from govt's Housing Infrastructure Fund, and the Head of Major Infrastructure Planning at AW is married to the SoS for Health and Social Care.
Is that right?

So the £277m needed to build the new @camcitco sewage works is being funded by taxpayers, not @AnglianWater's shareholders, but the company will own the plant & therefore the asset value with the old works sold for development & AW keeping the cash from the sale.
That right?🤔

Are shareholders even putting as much as a £0.01 into the new sewage works?
