Great manga coming from @UdonEnt this year: King Lear & Sherlock Holmes (which looks AMAZING) from Manga Classics & then more new biographies will follow the Charles Shultz title that comes out in October, including Amelia Earhart, & Momofuku Ando (creator of Instant Noodles)!

As a solo librarian @ a HS w/3000 Ss, Iāve fought hard to not be saddled w/Chromebooks but I feel like the inevitable is about to happen. Am I crazy to fight it? Or should I just let it happen? Is this what my career will be now? 90% text/Chromebooks & 10% actual library work?

Yes! Love doing this - students think it is SO COOL and I feel better because I can upcycle manga that has been destroyed! And, the best part? It takes VERY LITTLE work and supervision on my part! š

I stole @emraticaās idea of using spent manga as bookmarks. I have some that are laminated and a bunch that arenāt, and some of my students like coloring them. Iāve also done big coloring pages from iconic magazine scenes (copied, blown up on my copier).
