I can see like 7 great follow-up stories here but the biggest one is that Wisconsin leggies are utterly failing kids and voters by not revising the complex formula for funding schools.

Brandi Carlile's accompaniment for "America the Beautiful" before the game last night was SistaStrings. The duo, Chauntee and Monique Ross, played another American anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," on the Library's Stradivarius instruments in 2024.

Milwaukee Public Schools admits it will miss its belated state and federal finance deadlines.
DPI will not hold them accountable.
Presumably, DPI will have to estimate state aid payments to 421 districts.
They dumped this news on Memorial Day Friday.
