Every NFL team drops a schedule release video these days. Most people only see their own team's.
So I built a site that ranks all 32 by YouTube views — a leaderboard for who actually won schedule release day.
After a few days, the Raiders are running away with it.

Blame CloudFlare for Website Issues
The Cloudflare Error Page Generator (github.com/donlon/cloudflare…) is an open-source tool for creating highly customizable error pages in the style of Cloudflare.
It perfectly mimics Cloudflare’s famous error page designs (such as the 5xx internal server error pages) and can be embedded directly into your website. You can easily generate static HTML files to replace default error pages, allowing you to quickly shift the blame to CloudFlare whenever your site runs into problems.

I made a silly little side-project fan site for @redlettermedia using Cursor AI (my knowledge of web dev is 2010s era HTML and CSS) and it's pretty amazing that I was able to make this work. hackfrauds.com/

In the end, though, I don't think I'll be doing another project like this without first learning the ropes. Not having a good foundation made it incredibly hard to actually get it to ship. It's buggy, slow, and has all kinds of problems. But I had some fun with it!

The plugin will stay 100% free! There are definitely some polish items left on the list (better color selection, more features, better UI) but it felt like it was cooked enough to share!

It is funny how dogmatic people can be about their preferred UI theme. As the video states, the best theme is the one you prefer.

The tech industry’s ridiculously long interview processes almost feel like retention strategies. An unhappy employee is less likely to leave when switching jobs means doing a half dozen interviews and an unpaid take-home design test.

I made my first ever YouTube video for fun, and for the most niche thing ever — a Photoshop tutorial of sorts, while making YouTube thumbnails for Marvel Snap, inspired by @RegisKillbin's video about how he makes his thumbnails. It was a lot of fun!

One fun thing about being in a 3-person startup is doing things you wouldn't do in a larger company. As a product designer the past few years, I moved away from doing brand and web.
