Musk became Donald Trump's #1 political donor, assumed a high-profile role early in his administration, and in that role inflicted incredible harm on some of the most vulnerable people in the world while failing to achieve any of his stated goals. slowboring.com/p/yes-doge-fa…

Thanks I forgot: Joe Biden received 81 million votes. More than any candidate for President in the history of this country. It was a total landslide. A wipe out of historic proportions. He then went on to pass more bipartisan legislation than any President since LBJ. Conversely Donald Trump has not done much except start a war no one wanted doubled inflation expanded the trade deficit to historic highs and enriched himself and his family to the tune of billions of dollars.

These are flat out influence operations meant to challenging integrity of our electoral system. Wondering if our leaders in CA are generally cool with what’s happening in the sports book invading our ballot box? @GavinNewsom may want to check in on our AG who should at the very least be investigating how this all went down.
Spencer Pratt was never winning the LA mayor's race. Every number that said he was had been bought. The betting market: 75% of $78 million on Kalshi wagered on him, while influencers Kalshi paid hyped the odds with "paid partnership" stamped on their posts. His $3.75 million war chest: 83% of it from people who can't vote in LA. The "grassroots movement": AI-generated videos, championed by The Free Press, which was so deep in its own bubble it printed his "second-place finish." He finished third. Polls had him at 22. He promised he'd clear 50 and skip the runoff. He got 26. Trump cried fraud. Musk cried fraud. The vote was the only number in this race nobody could buy.

SEC Rule S7-2026-15 would let public companies hide bad numbers for six months at a time. Insiders dump their shares before disclosure, retail buys the bag. Comment is open until early July.

Registering in CA at a commercial address does not work, but it doesn't stop the grift from spreading. Poor @LACountyRRCC gets to play "choose which of the ten thousand darts thrown at the wall you get to address. Same game we've all played since 2020.

The algorithm is boosting braindead conservative conspiracy theorists and deboosting people who actually live in Los Angeles and can explain why Spencer Pratt is losing in very simple terms. Elon Musk has turned this app into a nuclear-grade cognitive hazard

I’m not a Bass or Raman supporter. I wanted Caruso but he didn’t run. But I’m sick and tired of this bullshit narrative – “in large part by ballot from Skid Row“ - show me, person who doesn’t even live in Los Angeles (Santa Mónica has its own mayor), where do you think Skid Row is and how big do you think it is? The dark purple/violet areas include all of the neighborhoods listed here, known strongholds for Raman (and Bass). You can vote for who you want to on your case you can root from afar, but don’t maliciously spread false information to perpetuate a narrative. Intellectual honesty should always win out.

Thanks for your lack of research, Nate. Very few jurisdictions on the entire planet conduct universal vote-by-mail elections like California. Only 6 other US states also do it, and CA has 32M more people than the 2nd most populous state that does.
It's hard to overstate how much of an outlier California is for its slow vote-counting relative to literally any other state or almost any other industrialized democracy.

This site is filled with disingenuous attacks on CA vote counting, claims that are easily proven untrue (often with @rpyers receipts), and, then, if/when they agree this is all performative BS, they say: “Well, even so, what about the distrust?” … that they themselves created.
