The Elliston district council needs a big pat on the back for doing veg management on our road. Not wholesale destruction, but branches "pruned" back, and edges levelled. In the far distance you can see what it was like before! Couldn't pass two trucks, one had to stop.👍👍😁

New combo of genetics (courtesy CSIRO) have given us a long coleoptile wheat with a Mace type maturity. This allows sowing at depth to chase moisture to get crops going on time. Sown at around 100 mm deep at Cootra 7 May 2021, 2 leaf stage by 26 May. #ResilientEP @Ware_AH
