ALT A grid showing the effects of DMI and SDHI treatments on three different isolates of leaves categorized as susceptible, SDHI-resistant, and DMI-resistant. Each column represents a different treatment condition: untreated control, DMI treatment, and SDHI treatment, with corresponding changes in leaf appearance ranging from healthy to infected.

While 1st time canola grower @kentonp_ag is working on a fairly friendly mallee sand I’m trying to do similar on a heavier soil. With 1-10mm forecast do you sow shallow to increase the chance of getting a germ or do higher temps in the topsoil increase chance of failure?

We need input from Australian farmers and consultants in a short online survey of canola establishment rates and research priorities to improve canola establishment. Results will be used to guide research in new GRDC-supported project. Survey link: surveymonkey.com/r/N7QZCXG
From a shearing shed out west of Ceduna to the hyper yielding site near Millicent it’s been a great year talking about growing crops with SA growers and advisors. Hopefully harvest can start soon so we can do it all again next year.
SAGIT's annual site visits for 2021 have kicked off, with Eyre Peninsula first port of call. Trustee Andy Barr, Project Manager Malcolm Buckby and Scientific Officer Jenny Davidson visited sites at Minnipa & Cummins. @SA_PIRSA | @Ware_AH | @ag_eyre
Looking for a start in your agricultural RD&E career? We are seeking recent graduates who are interested in RD&E relevant to the grains industry, particularly as it relates to Eyre Peninsula. 12 month fully paid internship! seek.com.au/job/52945683 Thanks @SAGrainTrust@Ware_AH
New combo of genetics (courtesy CSIRO) have given us a long coleoptile wheat with a Mace type maturity. This allows sowing at depth to chase moisture to get crops going on time. Sown at around 100 mm deep at Cootra 7 May 2021, 2 leaf stage by 26 May. #ResilientEP@Ware_AH

Thanks @farmersgrowit and @Ware_AH for hosting a neat demo of the phenology reset concept developed by @theGRDC@SARDInews co-investment. Stoked with the grower engagement at the site and discussion of ideas that may or may not work. As a researcher I need to do more of it!!
