Just joined the great @hughhewitt to discuss the robust and continued Trump Admin efforts to assist Los Angeles wildfire victims with their response, recovery, and rebuild since the first moment President Trump was sworn back into office.

New York politicians like Kathy Hochul couldn’t be any stupider in their stubborn refusal to reverse the state’s ban on the extraction of natural gas. In the alternative, they should at least allow Constitution Pipeline to be built to deliver PA natural gas through NY and into New England, but even that level of common sense is too much for their low IQ brains to wrap their heads around. So sad the way they are enthusiastically driving their state into the ground.

Not only should it not be controversial that I refuse to give myself powers that are not clearly stated in federal law, but that should absolutely be the standard, the constant of how an EPA Administrator approaches this position. Strictly adhere to the single best reading of the law pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright, and don’t ever get creative in trying to give myself any powers that the law hasn’t given me. If Congress wants me to do something other than the single best reading of the law, then they should try to change the law instead of demanding that I circumvent statute.

The EPA’s Long Island Sound Geographic program has been an enormous success. Great to be back in Oyster Bay, NY, promoting our continued efforts to protect this vital estuary of national significance.

It’s wild just how much food gets wasted and trashed into landfills. Over the weekend, I was in New York’s Hudson Valley with @RepMikeLawler touring a Rockland Green facility where food waste is being recycled into compost. The Trump EPA proudly launched our Feed it Onward initiative last year, partnering with individuals and entities across America to reduce food waste in many important ways.

Constitution Pipeline would deliver affordable, durable natural gas from Pennsylvania, through New York, and on to millions of New Englanders who desperately need it and have been relying on foreign energy sources and higher prices. Bizarrely, NY Governor Kathy Hochul has been yet again rejecting basic common sense and blocking this vital project. The pipeline is so critical for the region to get built!

Overriding local control, Albany politicians have massively ramped up their railroading of upstate communities, forcing them to take on the burden of far more solar farms on farmland. While in the southern tier this morning, I spoke out on behalf of the many upstate residents who are having their voices and opinions ignored and rejected by Governor Hochul and her henchmen of power hungry, out of touch Albany bureaucrats.

New York’s primary energy source is natural gas from out of state and out of country. While there is stiff competition in the category of most idiotic policies in NY, the state’s ban on natural gas extraction may be the pace setter. Was in Binghamton this morning to talk about this abundant energy resource that is available in the ground underneath NY. Despite all the jobs, lower cost of living, increased revenue, and vibrant downtowns that would come with reversing the state’s ban, Albany politicians like Kathy Hochul and her friends just refuse to apply basic common sense and lead NY back to greatness.

It is a big priority for the Trump Admin to restore the Florida Everglades, a key environmental and economic treasure in the state: Delivering 120 billion gallons of clean freshwater each year to the Everglades, bolstering the aquifer and drinking water, combatting harmful algae blooms, and protecting threatened and endangered species.

A tractor shutting down during harvest because of a faulty Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system has long been a devastating reality for too many farmers across America, but is now becoming a problem of the past as a result of Trump EPA actions this past year. Visited this weekend with the Oklahoma Farm Bureau and many of their amazing member farmers.
