Also need to give credit to my bonus-kid for teaching me so much about Greek mythology over the past few years, inspiring the title "ARAQNE" -- though we expect spinning quantum webs will be more of a blessing than a curse.
Thank you to @ualbertaScience for the opportunity to learn about the outstanding dark matter, nanotech and quantum research from Drs. Piro, Hegmann and @epsilonsquared. These labs and research teams in physics are second-to-none! #UAlberta
STEM outreach circa 1992: an article quoting me:
Lindsay LeBlanc, 11, said her teachers have opened a whole new world for her....
"I can work on computers at lunchtime and I've talked to and heard some famous and interesting people."
I just made this available as a colouring page!
It is free to print out and colour for personal use - a gift to show my appreciation for the support Iâve received online since I started painting full-time in 2018.

This just in: Zero Point Cryogenics wins an @ASTechFDN âDistinctionâ award! We are humbled and honoured to receive the Early Adopter of Alberta Technology Award thanks to our fantastic customers, funders, and employees. Alberta truly is a great place to build a business.
Super excited to give colloquium at @UofRegina this afternoon -- Regina, SK is where I was born and lived for my first ten years.
Though this visit is remote (and you're all invited), I'm looking forward to heading to Regina for #CCUWiP2023 in January!
Lots of colleagues around the world were interested in the first yr course we created on quantum computing/information using only HS-level math. We finally wrote a paper to provide more details and hopefully help other instructors: arxiv.org/abs/2210.02868
