3.2 million NYC residents were born outside of the U.S. More than 50% of children in NYC have a foreign-born parent. 60% of New Yorkers live in a household with at least one immigrant. NYC is a city of immigrants and they all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

In our 2017 National School Climate Survey report, we found that Native & Indigenous LGBTQ students were more likely than students of other racial/ethnic identities to report anti-LGBTQ victimization and discrimination at school.
