Last rehearsal of our season. She has been a doozy. Typically this time of year feels a lot like sliding into home “safe”! This year feels a lot more like I just did a face plant on home plate after an “in the park” home run. Phew, WTF just happened @VicSymphony @vsmusicians!?

Was just remembering this Pat Metheny sample I found in a Prince track. Seriously, what the hell? This is one of the most oddly surreal samples I have ever found, especially coming from someone (Prince) who very much disagreed with sampling. @PatMetheny

I just found what I think is a Pat Metheny sample in a Prince song recorded in 1993. I need my fellow #Prince heads to jump in here and confirm. At 2:53 in "Strays of the World" is that a sample of the choir from Pat Metheny "Above the Treetops"? @questlove @bsherman2222
