"Vote with your wallet" is fundamentally unsound because boycotts only work if everyone does them. You individually refusing to buy a game, streaming subscription, etc won't make it go away or change anything. If millions of other people pay up, your "vote" is unheard.

Don't worry, the game will sell millions of copies and they'll remake the entire Bungie era. Each will be worse than the last and will all sell millions. This is how 343/Halo Studios will sustain itself for the next decade, and it will work. They might even delist MCC at the end.
