The icon on the far right was generated by GPT Image 2 as a reference. The icons on the left were hand-drawn with a JavaScript script written by GPT-5.5.

After five wonderful years at KKR, I am excited to share that I am joining @JupiterExchange, the leading onchain super-app on @Solana, as President.
Here’s why.
At KKR, I had the privilege to shape digital asset strategy and to be part of the iconic TMT Private Equity and Capstone teams on landmark deals.
During that time, I built a conviction that onchain finance is the better way to finance - open, accessible, permissionless and self-sovereign.
In parallel, value accrual in crypto is fundamentally shifting from infrastructure to the application level.
What matters going forward is liquidity, distribution, and user experience.
Now, I want to double down on my conviction by helping bring the world onchain, with Solana’s largest super-app.
A lean, bootstrapped team has grown Jupiter into:
- The largest full-stack onchain application, #1 trading venue and #1 DeFi protocol by TVL on Solana, default entry point to DeFi for millions of users
- A product suite surpassing $1 Trillion in annual volume, generating hundreds of millions in annual fees across 12 product lines
- The best community in all of crypto
What excites me most is the opportunity ahead - to help build Jupiter into the default onchain gateway to the world. Solana snapshots hold a ton of valuable data.
They give you full access to chain state—without having to deal with JSON RPC (which, if you’ve been here long enough, you know is a brutal dev experience).
After this patch by @mandarin_canard, Yellowstone Vixen becomes one of the only tools that lets you:
• Load a snapshot
• Filter by program
• Parse only what you care about
Solana DX gets better with every pull request.

Why use a database and not just put these 2000 rows in memory?
Clearly it's not about scale. My laptop could fit 2000 rows of this data in memory about 10,000 times over.
But this isn't a static dataset, it's being actively modified. This is where databases become important. 1/

is distributed aurora even distributed with 2000 rows? it's like what, less than 1mb of data?

If you're building autonomous agents on Solana, this is something you'll want to try. Your agent can call Jupiter's Ultra API over plain HTTP, pay per request in USDC using x402, and avoid managing API keys or wallet signing.
A simple example is a DCA agent that runs on a schedule, fetches a quote from Jupiter, pays for the request through x402, and swaps a small amount of USDC.
