Someone I haven't spoken to in a long time texted to check on me, asked how I was. I gave the usual "I am okay" , tell me why this person goes on to say "no you're not"
Egbami, I said I am okay
Meanwhile the gesture brought tears to my eyes cos I wasn't really okay
I wailed 🤣

I eventually admitted to not being okay, asked what the problem was, encouraged me and sent moneyyyy and told me to reach out whenever.
Thinking about it now I've cried a little.
I won't forget this act of kindness, ever ❣️
