Problem: Peppered with questions about weather throughout the day and what should be worn to school before I've had my coffee (with my phone in another room). Solution: @useTRMNL weather app next to breakfast plate outlining the school day, with clothing suggestions.

I donโ€™t think itโ€™s an exaggeration to call this the greatest piece of prediction market content created to date.

Yeah, @thsottiaux... I'm feeling the AGI. Fed some new feature ideas into codex, and this was its response ๐Ÿคฏ: "Some of what we're working on might be easier to explain if I can show it to you in a web browser. I can put together mockups, diagrams, comparisons, and other visuals as we go. This feature is still new and can be token-intensive. Want to try it? (Requires opening a local URL)" Well done.

Still having a bit of trouble with phantom limbs to nowhere and people as blobs, but from what I can tell, each hand only has five fingers!

Current status: Unexpectedly stuck in airport for three hours and trying to get Codex computer-use to make a cat in Blender. About 20 minutes in and we're on our way to another Oscar worthy cat film.

One of my strongest convictions is that people are vastly more than the sum of their political beliefs and that friendships among people who disagree about politics are not only healthy, but necessary for a complete and empathetic understanding of the world.

Not totally sure that naming your most powerful model family the same name as the cosmic universe where Cthulu resides is totally the best idea but sure

Late Wednesday afternoons at my 8yo's school are designated for "tech time" where students can use a laptop with a handful of educational apps - or just continue with schoolwork or reading. For the past 3 years, she has never chosen the computer. I'm so proud of her.

Hidden on page 744 of the farm bill the House Agriculture Committee passed Thursday is a provision that would condemn millions of pigs to a lifetime in gestation crates. Rebranded the 'Save Our Bacon Act,' it's a pork-industry play to wipe out every state law banning the sale of pork from crated pigs โ€” laws the conservative Supreme Court upheld in 2023. Over 85% of Democrats and Republicans oppose these crates. Voters have backed ballot measures to ban them in state after state. The pork industry knows it can't win a straight vote on this. So it's burying the provision in an 800-page bill and hoping no one notices. Contact your senators and representative today and tell them: oppose the farm bill unless the Save Our Bacon Act is stripped out. You can reach them at senate.gov and house.gov โ€” it takes two minutes and it matters.
