The stigma around mens mental health issues leads to silence. Many men feel pressure to “tough it out,” leading to lower rates of diagnosis and treatment compared to women.
- Around 1 in 8 men experience depression, and 1 in 10 face anxiety at some point, Suicide rates are significantly higher among men, with men accounting for about 75% of suicides in the U.S. (CDC data).
