This. And there’s a popular tweet I’m paraphrasing that the playoffs are about who’s, ahem, mentally tough and who isn’t. Get those guys and filter out the ones who might not be.
If there's a lesson to take from these NBA Finals, it's that you don't build a team that looks like the Spurs, the Thunder or the Knicks. You can't do it. You can build the best possible team around your best players and hope that you create something good enough.

I think this is a sign that the Spurs simply did not respect the Knicks like they did the Thunder and Wolves. Because it is striking how easy it was to see the youth in the finals, when you expected it to show up against the best defense in the world (Thunder).
