When checking a pulsus paradoxus, don't look for the Korotkoff sounds to "go away with inspiration." Instead note the difference in SBP between appearance of intermittent (Korotkoff) sounds and appearance of continuous sounds. That's the pulsus.

Really cool noon conference by @sargsyanz on making the physical exam count in our tech-driven age. Being able to understand who the patient is and how they relate to their illness is critical to effective diagnosis and treatment. Can only be discovered at the bedside!
