My @evercaderetro Alpha arrived yesterday, I got chance to play on it last night, it's so nice! A nice size to have on a small table at the sofa and play, the arcade parts are top notch, and the built in games of the megaman edition are great!

Oh no, my KVM died! Oh well, I bought that when I had work laptops which didn't have Thunderbolt, so if my repair attempt over the weekend fails I guess I will buy a Thunderbolt hub and remove many cables from my setup

Every time I come to London I'm reminded what a miserable place Euston station is, it's consistently the worst experience of getting public transport. Inevitable delays, platforms being announced literally 4 minutes before departure, mass rush to get to the train. Just awful

Aqua Nautilus researchers, Ofek Itach and Yakir Kadkoda, uncovered a critical risk in the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), where predictable naming patterns and default settings could lead to a full account takeover in some scenarios. AWS addressed the issue, but user action is needed if you’ve used CDK v2.148.1 or earlier. I need a new bench power supply, but the world of options is so wide, and the cost range so gigantic, I have nooooo idea what to get. My current (now broken) Hantek HDP135V6S put me off getting another Hantek. I do wonder if a cheapish RS Pro one might do the trick.

I love how audible says "Chat with Audible customer service", but it's just a chat bot.....without free text entry, just click buttons. This isn't a chat....it doesn't come close to the definition of a chat....as far as I can see no avenues lead to chatting with a human.

I just checked my Ubuntu EC2 box (no desktop, obviously). dpkg showed it wasn't installed, but it was listening due to their horrible sidecar "snap" package system. Lovely; just lovely.

Just finished reading Miss Iceland by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir, a wonderful and compelling novel. Last year I read Hotel Silence by the same author and absolutely fell in love with her writing. These novels have challenged what I thought I knew about myself, and what I like to read

Jeez @audible_com the search in the app is terrible, I get you're trying to drive engagement and purchases, but not being able to search my library without it being totally full of stuff from the store and podcasts drives me away.
