@bib_bund, @BAMF_Dialog & @DIW_Berlin of #refugees from #Ukraine are in and show among other things: 18% of Ukrainian refugees who are able to work are currently employed and 44% of the refugees have envisaged staying longer.

Last year 167 Italian companies were awarded the "Welcome" logo by the UN refugee agency UNHCR.
The logo means that these companies were active in promoting the integration of refugees in the workplace - 9,300 in 2022, according to UNHCR.

Germany's federal government has agreed on a slew of new measures to help the 16 state governments deal with an increase in refugees.
One of the measures: The lump sum paid to the states will be increased by €1billion for 2023.

Syrian refugee Ryyan Alshebl has been elected mayor of the southern German village of Ostelsheim.
The 29-year-old fled his home of Sweida in southern Syria in 2015. He is now responsible for a town of 2,500 people in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
