A few things I’ve learnt from this injury. The secret camaraderie amongst cane users is real. And 90% of blokes secretly would love to have a decorative cane that could be used as some sort of self-defence weapon.
Immediate reaction, including that of my surgeon, is to swing it like a weapon 😂

Call me crazy, but I think parents should determine what their teenagers do online rather than the government.
And that governments shouldn't use system-level ID checks to identify and monitor everything.

Lawyers must claim on behalf of their clients and former clients any privilege which it is arguable they are entitled to, even if not instructed to do so or the client no longer exists: Addles v Dentons Europe LLP [2019] EWCA Civ 1600, [2020] 1 All ER 124 at [59]-[60].

Criminal law judges are more efficient than their federal, and I am guessing civil law, counterparts.
I think our Victoria judges, justices and magistrates are actually top notch in their punctuality.
Magistrates’ especially are unsung heroes with ex temp judgments delivered with pretty devastating accuracy and efficiency.

This is unfortunate; a suppression order or pseudonym order abandoned for an alleged victim of a crime after the prosecution (whose application it was) failed to preempt the matter and obtain any supporting evidence of material substantiating psychological harm.

Doing squats, leg extensions, pushups and bear crawls for kneehabilitation. My theory is the cold arctic waters cause the fibres in the tendon to constrict and rush with blood. Aiding in recovery.
