From classroom back to my home in the country…. This regularly leads to questionable outfits when doing the horse/sheep.
The best part of the 5am alarm is being up to see the sunrise 🌄

A truly remarkable woman, who made duty look effortless, and who was a shining beacon for many. She has always been, and will long remain, a deep inspiration for me. May she rest in eternal peace.
My first year as a teacher complete! What a wonderful year it’s been; amazing colleagues, students and support. Here’s to a restful holidays!

My final lesson with one of my Y11 groups tomorrow before their study leave. They were one of the first classes I taught as a teacher and I will certainly miss their positivity and their personalities.
I am convinced I got into bed and immediately got up again. There is no way that was a full nights sleep. A 5:30 alarm is quiet early but I do not feel like I’ve slept!

I made sure I stuck to my word and climbed this big old hill (Hay Bluff), before the holidays ended. It’s not been a smooth time, but I’ve found the good where I can 🏔👩🏻‍🦰

It’s 4am. I start my job tomorrow. I have woken up with raging imposter syndrome. Panicking about starting. Daft really, I know I’m not going to be perfect, I’ve just got to stand there, get started and find my feet!

Does anyone else’s brain just switch off sleep? As in, like a flipped switch, just no more sleep. I woke up at 3.20 and that’s it for the day 😭
I’ve spent the better part of a decade watching line of duty, to have that ending? No. Absolutely not. Please release the series 7 start date immediately. I will not allow it to end like this.

I grew up with a father who went above and beyond. Today, he is still the same. I went to get my car after celebrating my sisters birthday, and he’s there polishing it for me. Literally, waxing and buffing my car shiny. No one asked him, he just did. He’s just so great 💕
