Grandma Checkers 196237 arrived as a 12 year old stray in need of medical. With respiratory issues, she's not eating much and of course she's highly anxious in hte pound. But in spite of all this, she's a good girl who's soft bodied, easily leashed and returned to her kennel and loves to lean in for pets. Azula was marked 'Rescue Only' for being defensive in her kennel. Rescue Only dogs are not allowed to be taken outside and an error meant her kennel card was not updated with this info. She was brought outside and just look at her. Dogs like Azula are continuously labeled unfairly and lose their lives daily.
