Today we’re launching Database Agent in Zite. Ask questions, run workflows and create tables fields. Pull in data from URLs, files, or connected integrations. For advanced tasks, the agent writes custom scripts on top of the tools you already use - Slack, Airtable, Claude, OpenAI, and more - to send emails, generate summaries, or trigger workflows. Ask the agent to spin up a Zite app or form on top of your data, so your team can view, update, or collect records from a custom interface. All from one place. Live now at zite dot com

Zite is acquiring @raydian_dev, our second acquisition this year Founders Ryley and Greg are joining the Zite team How we got here: We first came across Raydian in November 2025 Even just 6 months ago, agentic building tools for non-engineers were far more limited Raydian was early to several ideas that are now fundamental, like planning mode with tasks, design mode, visual editing, and built-in auth databases Before Raydian, their team spent years running Devize, a profitable no-code app builder. Not too different from how Zite grew out of Fillout @ryley is joining Zite in a cross-functional role spanning engineering and go-to-market. He is a rare combination of builder and operator @gregoryjohn is joining as Zite's first Head of Education. He's taught over 100,000 people how to build with no-code and will have a big impact on our customers While the Raydian product is shutting down, many of the ideas and lessons behind it will make their way into @zite (Link in the thread with full details)

AI fields that work natively with your Fillout forms Translate responses, summarize free-form text input, categorize feedback, all without leaving Fillout
Your database can now think and search the web. We just launched AI Fields in @zite. Any field can fill itself. Categorize, score, summarize, assign, research - describe what the field should do and your database handles the rest. You don't need a separate automation tool, AI fields just run where your data lives. Zite’s database even searches the web when it needs live information. Full walkthrough in the video.

And introducing the new Fillout brand, now under the @zite umbrella
The next chapter: renaming to Zite Fillout, our online form builder, recently crossed $5M ARR and over 10,000 paying customers But at the start of 2025, as AI coding models kept improving, we started rethinking our business and what we could do for our customers beyond forms Could AI help non-engineers build software that businesses can actually rely on? We built Zite, initially as an experiment, to help answer this question Today, thousands of Zite apps are in use across SMBs, Fortune 500s, and government organizations, and usage is growing multiples faster than Fillout and other no-code tools There’s a lot left to build, but we’re incredibly excited about what’s ahead So today we're making it official: our company is now Zite Fillout remains its own product under the Zite umbrella, and will continue to benefit from improvements across our products

This year brought a lot of updates across Fillout and Zite. As we close out 2025, we want to thank you for trusting us with your forms, workflows and all things no-code. We’re excited to keep making Fillout and Zite better for you in 2026. And for now, here's a recap of the biggest launches from this year 👇 🌎 Multi-language form translations Translate your form into multiple languages with AI. Edit translations if needed. ✨ Introducing Zite (build full-stack apps) In April we introduced Zite, our AI app builder for creating business apps, internal tools and customer-facing portals. ✅ Quality-of-life improvements in forms A bunch of quality-of-life improvements shipped this year: - Bulk field operations (select multiple fields, copy/paste, mark required, set logic) - Bulk approvals (approve/reject submissions at scale) - Restore form versions (version history) - Better collaboration (sharing invite links, internal notes) - Organization asset gallery for reusable images/logos 🗄️ Databases, built for Fillout Zite We launched Zite’s built-in database to act on your form and app data. Zite database is as easy to use as a spreadsheet and as scalable as a SQL database. Build with: - Linked records dozens of field types - CSV, Airtable and Google Sheet import/export - Undo/redo - REST API webhooks - Granular permissions SOC 2 Type II 🔐 Auth user login for Zite apps Zite apps have built-in user and access control. - Database-first authentication (no duplicate user records) - Secure backend workflows observability - Internal-only, invite-only, or public signups - No user limits on any tier 🤖 Agentic mode partial file edits in Zite Zite got smarter when working in large projects: - Reads/changes only what’s necessary - Partial file edits to reduce token burn and speed up iterations - Better issue detection automatic fixes - Faster editor for large apps chat pagination 💳 New Team Plan simplified billing We introduced an all-in-one bundle that brings Fillout Forms, Zite Apps and Databases together with unlimited seats. Plus, a unified billing usage page to manage everything in one place. 📆 Faster scheduling forms and new integrations Fillout Scheduling improvements: - Microsoft Outlook scheduling integration - Jump straight to the first month with availability - Up to 12.5× faster scheduling links (biggest gains for multi-attendee round robin) - Easier host management multiple calendar support 🔌 New form integrations and reliability improvements We added new integrations and improved existing ones: - n8n integration - ClickUp integration - Re-run failed integrations in one click We'll be kicking off January with a launch week and can't wait to show you what's next. Happy New Year! The Fillout Team

One of the biggest stress points in my freelance career was the first client conversation. I always felt unprepared (because I was). Clients often asked straight for the price, and I wanted to please them, so I gave a quick answer without truly understanding what they wanted, which often led to scope creep. A simple client questionnaire form changed everything for me. It gives clarity, saves me from guessing, and filters out the “quick and dirty” projects before I waste time on them. Over the past months I’ve refined this into a clean workflow that all runs inside Fillout. From the form itself to call scheduling and even paid discovery calls. All in one platform. And I'm still on the free plan. It even replaced my Calendly subscription. Watch: youtu.be/t7bVdsbV03o

Most SaaS startups raise prices as they scale Not because they want to. For companies that want to grow, it's usually the only option Even if monthly churn stays flat, the absolute dollars that churn per month grows as revenue increases Eventually it becomes impossible to add enough new customers each month to offset that loss Companies need growth. So prices go up You can see this very clearly in the forms space: 2013: Typeform launches completely free 2014: Paid plans arrive but the free tier stays generous 2020: The free plan drops to 100 submissions per month and 10 questions per form Today: Just 10 submissions per month and 1 user included. For (largely) the same product Other form tools added per-seat fees, storage caps or moved previously free features behind higher tiers. It is the standard SaaS playbook There is really only one alternative that I know of Instead of charging more for the same thing, expand the product surface so pricing can stay stable or even decrease. Build new products instead of shrinking old ones This is the path we are trying to take with @fillout and @zitehq. There are downsides for sure, but it's a much more interesting and customer-friendly way to build a large business And it is much more doable today than when Typeform started. Every developer is 10x more productive. Not just because of AI - but also open source, cloud infra tooling, etc.

Introducing our new Team plan bundle ✨ Our goal is to make this the best deal on the market for teams building forms (with Fillout), business apps (with Zite), and very soon… databases. Flat pricing, unlimited seats & users, granular permissions — everything in one place. What’s not changing: - No changes to Forms Starter/Pro/Business pricing - Enterprise Tier 1 users can keep their current plans. The Team plan is replacing this plan for new customers - Zite usage limits remain the same (now displayed as Credits) We also added yearly Zite plans, a Zite Business tier and a UI revamp to simplify managing your subscription. You might've heard about the hiring advice "hire for slope, not y-intercept" Same thing goes for software vendors – bet on fast-moving startups that care about craft, design & reliability. Your future self will thank you. Some examples: ✦ bet on @linear vs jira ✦ bet on @upstash vs redis inc. ✦ bet on @tinybird vs clickhouse ✦ bet on @resend vs sendgrid ✦ bet on @AxiomFM vs datadog ✦ bet on @fillout vs typeform ✦ bet on @plainsupport vs zendesk Who am I missing here? 👀
I think people underrate shipping velocity when choosing what tools to rely on. It’s common wisdom in hiring: better to recruit someone with a bit less experience but a really steep learning curve. In 6 months, they’ll be way ahead of the pack. The same applies to products. You could choose the CRM that’s been around for decades and has more features today. Or you could pick one built by a team that ships relentlessly. In our software stack, I’ve been happiest with vendors like @dubdotco (affiliate software, led by @steventey and team), @mintlify (documentation platform by @handotdev & co), @attio (great team building next gen CRM out of London) and @render (founded by @anuraggoel, employee #7 at Stripe). All newer solutions, all improving very fast and shipping great software. And of course our goal is to be that vendor for forms (@fillout) and business apps (@zitehq).
