It would be awful to imagine that if I built a successful space company that launched rockets and satellites and stuff while also making thousands of my employees millionaires, that there would be people saying that I was bad

The best conversation around RWA that you will hear today. @mcagney sat down with @ysiu (@animocabrands) on this episode of Capital Rails to deep dive into why Figure, Hastra, and NUVA all chose to build on Provenance. An aligned vision: RWA tokenization alone isn't enough. You need real-world origination, distribution and utility.
“We have to get the TradFi Dollars over to DeFi.” RWAs have proven demand, distribution is the next challenge. It’s how the rails get built to take this from billions to trillions. In this special episode of Capital Rails, we sit down with Mike Cagney, Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Figure Technologies (Nasdaq: FIGR), alongside @ysiu to examine how the distribution layer for on-chain RWAs is being built. @NUVAFinance has officially launched on Ethereum, serving as a distribution layer that connects some of the largest institutional RWA pools on Provenance Blockchain, including @Figure’s natively on-chain home equity lines of credit through @HastraFi, to the broader DeFi ecosystem.

I defended a TCPA fax case back in 2019, and even then, I couldn't believe people were still sending faxes. Even harder to believe this still goes on today. This is a technology that probably no one under age 30 has operated.

I’m a really bad rollerblader but I used to love rollerblading on the east side of Manhattan along the East River from 34th street and pretty far down and then back up over and over on days like today

We’re democratizing capital markets. @financeguy74 tested Democratized Prime and dove into our partnership with Credibly. Here’s what he found. • Simplified and efficient lending and borrowing, compared to the process of getting a warehouse line. • Pool availability for auto loans and HELOCs. • Reduced friction should enable Credibly to pass savings onto its small business customers. First white-hat exploit on Ethereum: I unlocked 1,003.62 Ξ ($2,000,000) trapped in a 2016 ICO smart contract for 9 years. The 48 original investors can now claim their funds.

I guess the dilemma is that years ago when banks saw this, they'd say "uh oh, they're gambling on crypto," but now it could just be they're moving funds out of the bank and into stablecoins (and earning a yield!)

I hated on stablecoins for a while but recently had to fund an online account and saw that the ACH debit process took 3-5 business days. When I saw they also accepted stablecoins, I just funded my account with some of them that I had and it was completely done in a minute.
