many valid critiques but i feel like a lot of the negative reaction to Disclosure Day stems from ppl wanting a story starting & grappling w/ the consequences of proving aliens exist
when it’s actually a whistleblower cat-and-mouse thriller about the humanity’s right to the truth

THE FURIOUS: Loved it even more the second time. Any quibbles I previously had are thoroughly outweighed by the impressive feats of physicality and brutality inflicted by the cast, and for Tanigaki beautifully staging and capturing all of the mayhem.

#TheFurious is SICK AF. A dazzling display of brutal, bone-crunching fight choreography and stellar action filmmaking with a simple yet engaging story to boot. Xie Miao is fantastic and Joe Taslim as always is a total badass. Easily one of the best action films this decade.

The over the top reactions to Disclosure Day have me once more pondering how it would be nice if certain people remembered that "instant new masterpiece" and "one of the worst movies ever" are not the only two perspectives for movies. There's a whole spectrum in the middle!
