🚨 Today is #WorldFishMigrationDay, but wild fish aren’t celebrating.
Data collected by @wildfishcons shows that over 70,000 barriers, from weirs to dams, are slicing our UK rivers into fragments.
Today is #WorldFishMigrationDay! Every year, millions of fish (salmon, steelhead, herring, sturgeon, and more) migrate to their native habitats to reproduce. Some swim 1,000s of miles, relying on a network of healthy habitat to reach their destinations.
