Four seasons in one day on last Saturday's twisting and turning route up to the summit of Ingleborough! Not much to be seen from the top but some lovely views of Morecambe Bay, Wild Boar Fell and Ribblehead Viaduct on the way down.

Last Saturday we had a gorgeous sunny walk through the beautiful Eden Valley with far-reaching views of the Lake District fells & ice-creams from the fantastic Community Shop in Kirkoswald! It was lovely to welcome several walkers from the northern end of the line to the walk.

Walkers on Saturday's Friends Guided Walk were treated to glorious sunshine, stunning views of the North Pennines, wild flowers in abundance, lots of lambs, beautiful cherry blossom and a five-star lunch spot on their walk from Kirkby Stephen.

Saturday's Ribblehead Circular began with April showers & finished in glorious sunshine. Along the way we visited a National Nature Reserve, a Saxon Longhouse, Great Douk Cave, St Leonard's Church in Chapel-le-Dale, Hurtle Pot & Ribblehead Viaduct and watched some boxing hares!
