My COWS AND HOLLY album and songbook is finished at last—mastered days ago by the great Bob Ludwig & team! (Bob had said that he retired last year, but I calmly explained to him that he was incorrect about that.) I'm so grateful for the breathtaking singers & musicians I got to work with for this wide-ranging Christmas record—first and foremost my long-time music partner, Michael Ford. COWS AND HOLLY comes out from SimonKIDS September 10th. You can preorder it now from your favorite bookseller. Or, if you're like me, you can wail "OH NO, I FORGOT TO BUY IT!!!" on December 23rd, and then race wildly around to locate a copy. It's good exercise. #CowsAndHolly #Christmas

Some may remember that we recorded one of @SandyBoynton's songs called "Trucks" for her book "Frog Trouble" a few years back. I was so thrilled to work with Sandy again, this time for a track called "Just a Few of My Friends" for the forthcoming COWS AND HOLLY!

David, an artist and a gentleman, took a sip of his drink and rattled it off without even really being sure that's the one Steven meant. Steven opened his wallet and gave him $100 and the conversation turned elsewhere and I don't remember it coming up ever again
