GM and Happy New Year, Kaidro fam. As we wrap up January, a few announcements originally planned for this month are shifting into February due to partner agreement timelines. This isn’t a slowdown, it’s alignment. There’s a lot we’re excited to share, and we truly appreciate the patience and support from this community. These updates are meaningful, and they’re worth doing right. To keep everyone more closely informed, we’ll also be launching a Kaidro podcast series on YouTube in Q1, where we’ll talk through what’s coming and why. It’ll be more regular than our lives that we have had (we will still be doing game play ones). We have some awesome upcoming guests and will be talking about creative solutions and storytelling. Hey everyone, just wanted to drop the summary of the latest @kaidrochronicle Founders Update. So in short, next year will be as active as 2024 if not more active and a lot will happen. Robert and Peggy said it this time again that it only got so quiet because of the publisher deals that were in the making. There is no such case like Kaidro in the crypto space that this could be compared to since most other projects are simply a game and an ecosystem surounding it. Here we have an IP that is advancing into new teritories with third parties and contracts involved, thats why if you look at everything from a pure crypto project perspective, things seem slow. In 2026 the focus is on releases, marketing, growth, working with the publishers and of course giving usecases for the Kaidro NFTs and $KDR The book publisher deal is signed. Books will be available in pysical Locations like Barnes and Nobles, Target, Wallmart, etc, this way the Kaidro IP becomes a lot more visible. The game publisher deal is not yet signed but going forward, there were 2 publishers interested but the team has now decided on one and is going forward with that, Peggy and Robert already got the contract. In January there will be major announcements. First of all the announcement of the book publisher, which is one of the 5 top publishers worldwide. This deal will also be connected to the making of the Anime, (more infos about that at a later time). The second announcement will be, the name of the game publisher, details of the deal and how we are going forward. We will have a last Beta Gametest in in mid Q1, before the official release. The game will be initially released for PC and Playstation probably around mid of Q2, with mobile following a bit after (mobile isnt dropped, the game is still fully ready for it). With the full game release usecases for $KDR will be clear and added (more talks about tokenomics will follow as we approach full game release). In the second half of the year, Peggy and Robert will be traveling a lot, San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, etc to promote the Kaidro books and Kaidro as a whole IP. There will be more Kaidro merch this year (Bob plushie incoming). The production companie associated with the book publisher liked the idea of a Kaidro movie (the series has priority tho). Community Questions Question: Is there an update on Book 5 for the Kaidro webtoons? Answer: The development of book 5 had started already, so the layouts and everything is done already, but it is paused currently to get book 1-3 ready for the hardback release with the new publisher. Question: Are the current books now ‘1st edition’ or something similar? Also is the story line changing as was previously the plan with the anime, or will they be the same stories? Answer: Yeah the current books will be a rarity because none will be printed anymore and since the ones coming next year will be hard backs and will be a bit different, with special pages not seen in the current books (story still the same). The Anime will follow a different story line so that your NFTs can be included in it. Question: The game for pc and playstation will it still be web3? Answer: Yes the game will still be web3 as it currently is via the website (more features will be added as usecases are added), this way it can be interacted with purely web2 style or with benefits in web3 style. Even the book publisher is cool with that and likes the idea. Question: Early this year there were plans for a production system where we could use KDR, NFTs, and USDC to be part of the equity of the IP. Is that product still continuing, or is there something similar? Answer: Something like this is still planned yeah but now that so many things changed, it has to be reworked. Question: What about book 4? Did you guys print any or will that only be with the new publisher Answer: There was a kickstarter planned for this, but this is now dropped and it will be released under the new publisher.

But a major deal just closed for Kaidro book publishing with one of the fifth largest world book publishers. I can’t say who just yet and probably for another couple of months as well, but keep your eyes and ears out for more info. Building, building, building. I appreciate the @kaidrochronicle community for being patient as the Kaidro game continues to be refined. I know I’ve been MIA publicly but internally, me and @Robert_O_Simons have been chugging along with the Kaidro team steadily. Building the Kaidro world together for the long haul, we have to trust the process. We develop systems for growth. Kaidro has reached more people today than the year before, more than the year before that and the year before that. You are seeing a very active version of Kaidro as Robert and I have worked with it for over a decade of development. Intellectual property is king and stands the test of time. Thank you for those who made it to our Discord live gameplay test. For those who missed it, the biggest visual updates have been the UI as we got a lot of feedback through out the months of you guys testing with us. The readability has been a big one and I’m pretty happy with the way it’s turned out here @kaidrochronicle it can be seen. On the business side we mentioned on the live gameplay that we have been talking to publishers and have aligned with one that we believe understands us, Kaidro and you the community members. This alignment together will shed light of this world to the larger player base out there. Also we are excited as this touches upon marketing, more players, more readers and it includes the token. You may know the community as it is now, but there was a similar surge from the time in the past that encompassed only the readers of the original Kaidro comic. Heads up in the Discord there should be a survey to get more feedback from you guys as a community for Kaidro. Shout out to @_realghost_, JV and the mod team for all the Kaidro support! ❤️🐉

GM! Yes, it’s been a while—so what’s been going on with @kaidrochronicle , and why have we been so quiet? After the California fires and the challenges that followed, we had to relocate—both ourselves and some close family members. That process took a few months and demanded attention. That said, development on Kaidro never stopped. We’ve built a strong team (many of whom several of you have interacted with), and they’ve kept things moving behind the scenes. So, where are we now? A lot has been happening internally. We’ve been in discussions with game distributors and publishers. While animation is still part of our long-term vision, our current focus is on securing key partnerships around the game. These are traditional industry deals, so timelines move differently than what many are used to in Web3. Because of NDAs and the nature of these talks, I can’t share specifics—yet. My activity here on X will remain quiet a bit longer as we finalize everything. But rest assured—we haven’t stopped. The Kaidro game is mostly done—we’re now deep into bug hunting and polish. The marketplace is also nearly complete. However, we’re holding the full launch until our publishing partnership is locked in. This part of the process is critical to bringing in more players, readers, and growing the Kaidro community. Good things are on the horizon. Builders gotta build.
