#NHL Trade Trigger Happy John Chayka already moving towards a younger/retooling of the #Leafs Even possibly a rebuild. It will be fun to watch.
The #leafs trade Joseph Woll and Simon Benoit to Philadelphia for Emil Andrae, Samuel Ersson and a 2026 third-rounder.

Monty’s AAV is β‰ˆ 2X Dobes Fowler β€”Not really, more like 1.65X but sure the extra salary is not needed Dobes and Fowler can play β€”Yes, unless they get the Monty’s syndrome. Where did that come from anyway? Monty will have value on the trade market β€”? mark but vague enough Move him& in gain valuable cap space. β€”Yes Not personal. β€”Somehow I feel there is a dark satisfaction there. But I could be wrong.

It would be crazy if 20 years after his brother Eric Staal won the Stanley with the Hurricanes that Jordan Staal does the same. The captain in 2006 was... Rob Brind'Amour

Can you believe that but with 6 minutes to go, I decided to take a break. But hey, I am not the first one, Toronto Mitch Marner was the break leader tonight. #Canes #VGK #Leafs

Minnesota is probably Dylan Larkin’s favorite. But is Dylan Larkin, Minnesota’s favorite? That’s the real question.

The best strategy that Steve Yzerman should follow in a trade for Dylan Larkin is seeking a mixture of current young NHL talent & prospect(s). The new acquired young talent should be aligned with the young group made of: πŸ’ Moritz Seider 25 (RHD) πŸ’ Lucas Redmond 24 (L) πŸ’Simon Edvinsson 23 (LHD) πŸ’ Sebastian Cossa 23 (G) πŸ’ Marco Kasper 22 (C) πŸ’ Axel Sandin-Pellika 21 (RHD) πŸ’ Nate Danielson 21 (C) πŸ’ Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (R) πŸ’ Trey Augustine 21 (G) πŸ’ Emmitt Finnie 20 (C) πŸ’ Carter Bear 19 (L) And shy away from the core of πŸ’ Dylan Larkin 29 (C) πŸ’ Alex DeBrincat 28 (R) πŸ’ Andrew Copp 31 (C) etc. Obviously there are some veterans that they should keep and this way, it's not a rebuilt, but a focus on the right core. The Red Wings could keep the same level of competitiveness while getting into a position of added potential.

Fair enough, and I appreciate the effort, and the courage to stand by your opinion even if alone. That being said, as far as the offensive players go: Suzuki doesn't come anywhere close to 100 points without Caufield. Meanwhile Kucherov has much greater distance between himself and Guentzel. Which in my book reads that Kucherov has a greater individual impact on his team than Suzuki. Nikita Kucherov 76 games 44 G 86 A 130 points Jake Guentzel 81 games 38 G 50 A 88 points NIck Suzuki 82 games 29 G 72 A 101 points Cole Caufield 81 games 51 G 37 A 88 points All of the above said kindly.

Some of these fans or journalists do not understand the true spirit of the Selke Trophy. They would have voted for Pierre Larouche instead of Bob Gainey. Kudos to the ones who voted for Bob Gainey.
