A golden idea if you're learning a new language: make a global instruction for your AI to use a word or a phrase in every (other) sentence in the studied language with translation to english or your mother language. Free vocabulary expansion, you're in terminal 8 h/day anyway

just officially downgraded my $200/m claude code sub and got $200/m on codex
in ONE "/goal", codex converted my ios app to 23 different languages
Japanese, German, Korean, French, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Indonesian, Filipino, Simplified Chinese, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, Malay, and Hindi.
it took ~2 hours but it just DID it, it localized the entire app to 23 different languages on the ios app store settings too
...but cant claude can do that too?
sure BUT: the usage is the main reason, this thing NEVER RUNS OUT even on max settings
- i had it running two /goals for HOURS on 5.5 xHIGH (highest one)
- i've been doing ios app image gen stuff for like 8 hours a day ALL WEEK on 5.5 medium
- i had it run multiple other "/goals" all week
- i generated like hundreds of images with 5.5 and didnt even come close to usage limits
- 1.5x speed always too
- there is also no crazy difference between opus 4.7 and codex 5.5 (besides claude design)
BUT THIS THING LITERALLY NEVER RUNS OUT??

So there is no need to pull more load to the publicly facing instance hosted by Komoot

Knowing the linked resource is being supported by a team of 1 with appropriate amount of servers, I'd also suggest donating to github.com/lonvia or OSM to keep the reverse geocoding service free

Moved Dawarich's production DB the second time in two months. DigitalOcean (4vCPU 8GB RAM 80GB SSD) -> Hetzner VPS (cluster of 3 nodes, 2vCPU, 8GB RAM 200GB SSD each) -> dedicated server on Hetzner (ax41-nvme with Ryzen 5 3600 64 GB DDR4 RAM 2x 512 GB NVMe SSD). Much faster now
